PULSE delivers adaptable and persistent monitoring – so you get notified if a customer behaves dubiously.
The internet landscape is capricious. Product portfolios are replaced from one day to another and website content changes in unpredictable ways, especially when it is user-generated. Therefore, it is essential to not just facilitate one-time checks of websites, but to continually monitor them. Critical changes happen fast – you have to be vigilant.
PULSE builds on over five years of experience with website monitoring. It represents our efforts to make monitoring both more comprehensive and easier to handle. In total, it features four different reporting modules:
The most basic form of monitoring is the identification of new content violations. These can occur anytime an entity suddenly changes its business model or inventory.
Changes on an entity’s website are often the first indicator for problems. In this category, our system shows you, if an entity’s name changed or disappeared, if a different address is named or if the website went offline altogether.
Some of the most obvious red flags are customer complaints, criminal charges, fraud warnings and negative news. You will be notified about new ones in this panel.
Our system identifies and highlights previously unknown websites which would require registration with the card schemes as well as websites that could potentially be used for the purpose of transaction laundering.
NO FALSE POSITIVES
All categories are checked for false positives by our experienced underwriting team. Therefore, you can rest assured only significant changes or violations are reported.
You have the possibility to comment on and clear entries as well as review an automatically generated PDF report of the incident. Overview reports with customizable time frames and categories can also be created – perfect for providing a monthly monitoring report of new merchants, as often requested by card schemes.
PULSE is exceptionally comfortable to use, as you are able to assign the kind of monitoring through any Web Shield tool you are using. This means: no matter if you are using SHIELD, SENTINEL or GEiDD, all URLs can be monitored in one single PULSE interface.
